Visit to the most important Contemporary Art fair in France and among the most important in the world which takes place every year in October and which is part of the circuit traveled by collectors from all over the world in search of new and old creativity. Our group, according to the program below, visited the fair with the guide and some artist studios and, in the evenings, welcomed by the French Friends who did their utmost to make us feel very good and whom we thank.
WEDNESDAY 23 OCTOBER
Departure at 11.00 from the Tremoille hotel, 14 rue de la Trémoille Paris, for the preview of the FIAC – Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain and continuation of the visit during the day. Free breakfast during the visit. I’m going back to the hotel. At 7.00 pm dinner at Maison Kraemer, guests of the Nissim de Camondo family, and visit of their wonderful collection of objects and art furniture from 1700/1800. Return to the hotel.
THURSDAY 24 OCTOBER
Departure at 9.45 am from the hotel for 41 rue Spontini, Paris 16th, where Patricia Landeau, Co-President of the French Friends of Israel Musuem in Jerusalem, will be happy to offer breakfast. At around 10.30 am departure for Verrière le Buisson, for a guided tour by Soly Levy, winner of the “1st Prix de la Ville de Paris du cercle des Gobelin et des Beaux Arts” at the studio of Françoise Abraham, an internationally renowned artist. At around 12.30 am breakfast included at the Jules restaurant, 8 rue de l’Eglise, Anthony. At approximately 2.30 pm, departure for Draveil, to visit the studio of: Jean Soyer. Return to the hotel. At 8.00 pm dinner at the Lesourd mansion. Return to the hotel.
FRIDAY 25 OCTOBER
At 10.30 am visit to the private collection of the Settons, 60 rue de St. Pères, Paris 7 °, housed in their residence designed by Jacques Grange, rich in works of contemporary art, sculptures and photographs (Hirst, Warhol and Lichtenstein). At 12.00 / 12.30 breakfast at the restaurant “Le Relais de l’Entrecote” included. At approximately 15.00 / 15.30, guided tour by Soly Levy to the painter Lisa Seror’s studio located in rue de Grenelle. I’m going back to the hotel. At 8.00 pm, dinner for guests in Denise Levy’s residence, 54 Avenue d’Iéna, Paris 16th. Return to the hotel.
SATURDAY 26 OCTOBER
Free day available. Possible guided tour of the Musée d’Orsay.
