Venice: a Museum among the Museums
THURSDAY MARCH 13th
Arrival at “Monaco e Gran Canal” hotel on the Gran Canal, with a special AIMIG price.
12.45 p.m. departure from the hotel and transfer by private motorboats to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
Lunch at the Guggenheim Museum restaurant. Visit the temporary and permanent collections guided, if possible, by Philippe Rylands, the Museum Director.
Return to the hotel by private motorboats.
8.00 p.m. dinner in private house, guests of Mr. Piero Pinto, a famous Italian Architect.
10.30 p.m. return to the hotel.
FRIDAY MARCH 14th
10.15 a.m. departure from the hotel by private motorboats to Murano to visit the Venini glassmaker furnace.
Lunch in Murano, in the famous restaurant “Busa alla Torre”.
Return to Venice by private motorboats and guided visit to the “Punta della Dogana” Museum and to “Palazzo Grassi”.
Return to the hotel.
8.00 p.m. Shabbat Dinner, in private house, guests of Mrs. Sandra De Benedetti Bohm.
10.30 p.m. return to the hotel.
SATURDAY MARCH 15th
10.30 departure from the hotel and guided visit of the exhibition at the Correr Museum: “FERNAND LEGER 1910-1930 La visione della città contemporanea”
Visit to the “Amman Canal Grande Venice” hotel, hosted in Palazzo Papadopoli, one of the recently restaured regal homes on the Gran Canal.
Lunch in the restaurant of the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit to the famous fashion house of Roberta Di Camerino, guided by the daughter of the fashion designer.
5.15 p.m. return to the hotel.
8.00 p.m. dinner in the famous restaurant “Le Maschere” guests of Mr. Stefano Gorghetto.
10.30 p.m. return to the hotel.
