28 April 2021: “E T E R E” exhibition @ BUILDING GALLERY

Barbara Lo Bianco, in her role as a member of our Board, organized an in-person guided visit for members on April 28 to ETERE, the exhibition by Israeli artist and composer Yuval Avital, curated by Annette Hoffmann, at the BUILDING Gallery in Milan.



A solo exhibition spanning all four floors of the gallery and featuring more than 100 works, which we had the pleasure of visiting in a small group of seven people, in order to maintain social distancing, guided by the artist himself and the curator.


ETERE, like all of Avital’s large-scale works, is conceived as an immersive and all-encompassing environment. As in the fairy tale’s Heart of the World, for Avital humankind is by nature incomplete. The unbridgeable void between humanity and things becomes the driving force of this journey and constitutes the very essence of ETERE.
