Lugano One-Day Tour – Wednesday, 16 March 2022A wonderful trip to Lugano on a magical sunny day, enjoyed by a group of members with a passion for art, who were welcomed for breakfast on the lakeside terrace by our member, donor, and collector Micaela Goren Monti.

Programma

09:50 Departure by private coach from Milan (Cadorna Station, corner of Via Emilio Alemagna toward Corso Sempione)

11:00 Arrival in Lugano (pick-up of part of the group directly outside the LAC Lugano)

11:15 Visit to the Banksy exhibition at Villa Ciani – featuring over 100 works, objects, and documents by the British street artist, displayed in the splendid neoclassical villa set amid its lush park

12:30 Visit to Palazzo Reali for the retrospective dedicated to photographer James Barnor, organized in collaboration with the Serpentine Galleries in London

13:30 Lunch hosted by Micaela Goren Monti at her private residence, including a visit to her collection of Modern and Contemporary Art

15:15 Private visit to the Contemporary Art exhibition after museum hours, guided by Mrs. Danna Olgiati, co-owner with her husband of the Olgiati Collection exhibition space at Riva Caccia 1

16:30 Return by private coach from Lugano, with arrival in Milan (Cadorna Station) by 6:00 pm
