Zoom 27 April 2021: MARC CHAGALL @ PALAZZO ROVERELLA

On April 27, starting at 6:30 pm, our Co-President Alessia Panella led a virtual tour in Italian of the Chagall exhibition held at Palazzo Roverella (Rovigo), organized by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo.

At the opening of the event, participants were welcomed by Dr. Giuseppe Toffoli, Deputy Vice President of the Foundation. The video provided directly by Palazzo Roverella allowed us to explore in detail all the elements that make up Chagall’s Russian works, further enriched by the contribution of Riccardo Calimani, who took part in an interview offering concluding remarks on the recurring theme of the Wandering Jew—a constant in the artist’s paintings, which he embodies with remarkable clarity.
